Prayer Request (Update at #483)

Requesting prayers for my Baby Sister.

She is a Mother of 2 teenagers.

She visited the MD yesterday , MRI results show a neural sheath neoplasm encapsulated around the femoral artery and compressing her femoral vein.

She visits the surgeon on Thursday.

I am asking for our prayer comunity to aid in her healing and therapy.

WAIT! WE ARE!!

Just the black hounds.

Won’t be long and I’ll have to start getting ready for work.

What I want to happen is for the phone to ring and someone to say this has been some horrible clerical error.

That isn’t going to happen.

Next is I want to fix something. That’s what nurses do isn’t it. I fix things.

I make pain better, I comfort and console and make it better.

I can’t do that either.

I can pray and trust . God in his infinite Mercy and Love has worked this into his divine plan.

I pray the scales fall from my eyes to see the blessing in this trial.

Even though this cancer is not mine,in terms of being inside my body, I pray that I may be a faithful servant even though I cannot clearly see what He is calling me to.

Being forged is part of the human condition.

I imagine it is worse when you are a nurse. We “civilians” don’t know all of the possibilities, so we our imaginations don’t have so many places to go.

I know that your faith and His love are all that you need; but FRiends have you in our prayers, too.

I’m being called out of my role of comfort and familiarity.

As a nurse, I know exactly what to do.

I’ve never been in the sister role before.

My assessment of the possibilities has been through many dark alleys.

I know God works through us and through our trials.

I don't know what that is 6ut I do understand the part a6out her femoral artery 6eing squeezed -- I'm glad to pray. In case I got here ipso post facto, am praying for the healing process to go smoothly.
