I sent her an e-mail. Unfortunately it wasn’t polite - I just didn’t have it in me at the time.
In another era this would not have been offensive to me..I knew nothing about Islam..Now it is because of what I have learned about what so many mosques are teaching..and the results are evident... It may be true that only a small percentage actually are involved in the violence but I haven’t seen a large percentage expressing outrage over the extremists.
I want my tolerance to be reciprocated.
And you believed that guy? Here’s a sucker for you.
Houston news last night said this wasn’t the first ever prayer at the Senate, but this article claims it is the first. Someone got facts wrong. ;^)
They wouldn’t be such bad people if they would stop the bombing, flying planes into buildings, strapping bombs on their kids and chopping heads off.
I sent an email to her office explaining my position about a muslim praying in my Senate right before Easter...That basically I see it as a slap in the face from Muslims to Christians....I’m tired of trying to get along, the mussies don’t want to get along they want to take over...D@mn I wish we would wake up...
Within hours, Joseph's Tomb was reduced to a smoldering heap of rubble. Within two days, as an Associated Press dispatch reported, "the dome of the tomb was painted green and bulldozers were seen clearing the surrounding area," as the Palestinian Arabs sought to transform the biblical Joseph's resting place into a Moslem holy site.
Over under on which US site they’ll take first?
Thank you. Replace the word “Muslim” in this thread with “Jewish” or “Catholic” and we’re right back in the 30’s.
It’s to the point of me not trusting a single muSLIME anymore. I think the pig races at that Houston area mosque is one of the best things going for now.
That's what Islam is, Satan's religion.
And sure, why not? As long as it's not Christian prayers to that "evil" Jesus dude. If that was being forced, you can bet there would be protests all over the media and law suits filed by the ACLU
How often are Christian prayers held there?
What a shame that a Jewish rep decided to have both Christianity and Judaism bow down before Islam just before one of the biggest holidays in their faiths.
(Is this an important Muslim weekend, or just another opportunity to have the world’s faiths Submit to the Will of Allah?)
Another case of “Oven Jew Syndrome”!
For those not raised around my co-religionists, the term refers to someone who acts like those demented fools who survived socialism’s negative impacts on the German Jews and went to Israel where they set up socialism based systems again.
“Multi-trial learners” also describes them.
;-)
Islam is at war with the world. The koran tells it’s subjects it is OK to lie on behalf of the cult. Read the koran. Read the “Politically Incorrect Guide to Islam”. Your tolerance is wasted. There were many Nazis in WW2 who helped the allies and could be considered “good Nazis”. There were many Nazis who wanted to dispatch Hitler. The actions of those “good Nazis” don’t compel me to put forth a disclaimer that “not all Nazis were bad” when discussing Nazism. It amazes me to see people constantly defending Islam when the “peaceful” “moderate” muslims stand idly by while there “religion” is being perverted. The fact is a good muslim hates Jews and wants to see islam dominate the world....period...
Actually there are a lot of passages in the Old Testament that suggest that the same treatment should be given to Muslims and other heathen tribes and cultures. Islam, IMO, is a satanic bastardization of Arab paganism, judaism and Christianity. But there are peaceful (moderate if you will) Muslims and there are radical fundamentalist Muslims who take the Koran literally in every instance and who are fueled by hatred for everything non-Muslim and by their own inadequecies and by the failure of the own cultures to provide some minimal semblance of peace order or prosperity their followers.
As far as Muslims praying in the Senate, as long as there is a Senator there who is a Muslim, then liberty would demand that his religion be given equal access to the podium for the purpose of providing an invocation or benediction to the proceedings on the floor. And as liberty loving Americans we should show some respect to those whose religious beliefs are not square with our own.
As a Christian I believe that Muslims are lost souls in need of Christ as their savior. I also believe that of Jews, Hindus, Buddhists, Zoroastrians, Christian Scientists, and Atheists.
I would not stand in their way if they were to offer a prayer before the Senate. And in accordance with the proper decorum of the Senate, I would not in any way show disrespect for the person giving that invocation (although I would not bow my head or otherwise provide any indication to anyone that I was in agreement with their prayer.
If we are going to allow Christians to pray when we have Christian Senators, we will need to allow any other faith that is represented in the Senate the opportunity to present a prayer as well. Whether or not God hears that prayer or answers that prayer is God's business.
