Agreed. Islam is not a religion. It is a savage political ideology that wants to destroy the US and all of western civilization. We should stop coddling the filthy Islamofascists that make up the 5th column in this country. We need to round them up and deport them. Welcome. SGT Sam on KLBJ was not happy about this development today. He did like the bill that would allow all TX high schools to have Bible Class studies as electives.
I've seen this same thing up and down the politcial scale. Some women who have serious emotional and mental issues gravitate to politics. I think it has something to do with menopause.
I know a LOT of women and I am surrounded by them. Most age beautifully and don't have the sickness that I describe above. But, the women that have the problem are unstable and dangerous when they have power over others. Pelosi, Clinton, Rosie, Fienstein, Boxer, etc.
These women think they can change the world around them and they do nutty things like trying to make deals with moslem arabs.
There are some men that have this problem too. John Kerry and Al Gore come to mind.
Don't get me wrong, there are zillions of women that don't have this problem. I'm not saying painting with a broad brush:) All I'm saying is that if you identify one of these types in office or running for office never vote for them. And be damn sure you never marry one!

We most certainly are not at war with Islam. We are at war with a very vocal minority who have hijacked an ultra-fundamentlist reading of the Qu'aran to justify their bloodlust. The terrorists we fight are as much nihilists as they are Islamic.
Pastors are not barred from the Chamber because of the terrorism committed by Timothy McVeigh or the IRA.
Now, if you want to argue that no clergy at all have any business giving an invocation in a legislative chamber, I would go along with that. We must be consistent in who is allowed to do so, however.
Next week they are brining in a devil worshipper to say a prayer to Satan. They have to cover all bases and satan is on the move.

I just talked with a Muslim guy yesterday (complete with flowing robes and long beard) who strongly condemned that sort of violence.

I would suggest Christians watch out in praying to another god. We do have a jealous god who tells us “do not worship idols”.
