"Plan for Muslim prayer in Senate angers some"

"AUSTIN — The first prayer ever by a Muslim cleric in the Texas Senate will be delivered today — outraging some conservatives because it is occurring just before Easter. The invocation will be delivered by the Imam Yusuf Kavakci of the Dallas Central Mosque at the invitation of state Sen. Florence Shapiro, R-Plano. Shapiro is Jewish."

Comparing the overwhelming violence advocated by islam and the koran to acts of violence by Christians in days gone by or passages in the Bible are completely absurd as it relates to todays world. Offend Jesus and you’ll get a govt grant, offend Mo and you get beheaded and or attacked by the PC police. When Christians start flying planes into buildings and beheading folks, talk to me about the atrocities of Christianity. If the un-holy koran was a pain-reliever, it would have been removed from the shelves of stores across the country for the scores of death it has directly caused

That was one of the Medina verses which describe the time of emigration (the Hijra) of Muslims from Mecca. It describes how the devout should treat the infidels they encounter on their journey, how they should prove themselves to allah and each other through their (mis)treatment of those they encounter, and the rewards in paradise for those who do allah’s bidding. It’s not a unique situation — it’s an emigration handbook the fruits of which are visible worldwide.

Some? is right.

I would like to say “angers ALL” but I’m pretty sure I can still say “angers MOST”.

Fools.

The very first Supreme Court Justice John Jay said "Providence has given to our people the choice of their rulers, and it is the duty, as well as the privilege and interest of our Christian nation to select and prefer Christians for their rulers."

Wise counsel indeed.

Apparently the good people of Michigan have chosen to ignore this wise counsel.

Nevertheless it does remain our priviledge and our duty to select and prefer Christians to be our rulers. As long as a majority of Americans heed that counsel, we should not have any problem. However, if at some point the people of America decide that it is no longer important to select and prefer Christians to be our rulers, then we as a nation will pay a heavy price for that failure.

But, we do have the priviledge and the liberty to make stupid decisions that may eventually result in the death of the Republic. It won't be the first time.

Today is the “Prophet’sPBUH” birthday, so that may have had something to do with this.

The Texas Senate Website has a video of the Islamic invocation
today at http://www.senate.state.tx.us/avarchive/?yr=2007
Click on the date (4/4/07) next to “Senate Session”.
It takes place right after roll call.
The imam has a very heavy accent so it was a little hard to understand him (I’m deaf in low ranges of hearing) but this sentence stood out for me:
“Master of the Day of Judgment, Oh, God, Allah, you alone we worship, and you alone we call on for help, oh, Allah, guide us to the straight path, the path of those whom you have favored, not of those who have earned your wrath, or of those who have lost the way...”

After the prayer he launches into some sort of Islamic hymn or something, just so you know and want to turn your sound down.

I recommend that all read the book by John Hagee, JERUSALALEM COUNTDOWN, revised and updated version. This will give all a outlook on the Muslims.......I found my copy in Sam’s and did not put it down from start to finish.

Here's a suggestion for those of you with "moderate" muslim friends. Simply ask them a few questions:

1. Should Israel be allowed to live in peace (asking them to simply answer "yes" or "no" will send them into a spiral) 2. Should Christians be allowed to worship freely without persecution in muslim countries. 3. Do they condemn ANY teachings of the koran for advocating violence or treating women and non-muslims as second class citizens. I will guess that even "moderate" muslims WILL NOT condemn ANY teachings of the un-holy koran... 4. If a Jew needed mouth-to-mouth resuscitation, would said moderate give it? I'm a gamblin' man, and I'll give ya 2to1 said questions will cause a stuttering fit...

"If you build a bridge to Muslims, the first thing you know they are driving a car bomb over it."

Why did the muslim cross the road?

Ans: To blow up the other side.

Everywhere and everytime muslims become the majority in a territory they have invaded/infiltrated, they destroy the holy places of the locals, be it Jewish, Christian, Buddist, Hindu, etc, to build their mosques right over them.

Meanwhile, western civilization remains in denial of these historical truths. So we go about insisting that Israel sacrifice their land for a false peace. All the while Americans are now willing to sacrifice their former freedoms for “security” against muslims who want to destroy us too.

Where you have one religion you have tyranny. Where you have two religions you have war. Where you have many religions you have freedom. Never lose sight of it.

I don’t think that anyone should be barred from offering prayer, and when they pray, they should be allowed to be themselves.

However, I see nothing wrong with having them pray in proportion to their representation in the population. Therefore, if there are 365 prayers a year in the Senate, then one could expect a Muslim prayer roughly once every 300,000,000/5,500,000 = .018X364 = 6.6 prayers per year.

Shapiro said the prayer was planned months ago in conjunction with Texas Muslim Legislative Day, which brought several hundred Texas Muslims to the Capital today.

Ok, what is the "Texas muslims legislative day?

These (the visiting Muslims) are people of faith."

Indeed they are. A people of faith dedicated to conquering, converting, enslaving, or murdering those who refuse to convert to their faith. And once they have a majority in the comunity they have a history of trampling local traditions and holy places replacing them with their own.

Daniel Boone, Davey Crocket, Jim Bowie, and Col Travis would all be proud of their and their fellow patriot's ultimate sacrifices today for the Texicans. /sarc off

Men like that don't exist in America anymore. So prepare yourself and your family to convert or be beheaded. /sarc not off

Great questions to ask “moderate” Muslims. How can someone be a “moderate” member of a death cult?
