“Author argues biggest U.S. enemy is American Left”
by Chad Groening OneNewsNow.comApril 3, 2007
ARTICLE SNIPPET: “A best-selling author and former presidential attache hopes a new book he is working on will awaken patriotic Americans who want to see victory in the war against “Islamo-fascism.” The national defense analyst believes America’s biggest enemy is one that exists within — the American Left.
Lt. Col. Robert “Buzz” Patterson (U.S. Air Force, Ret.) is chief operating officer at the David Horowitz Freedom Center in Los Angeles. His book War Crimes: The Left’s Campaign to Destroy the Military and Lose the War on Terror (Crown Forum) is due out in June. Even so, the former Clinton aide believes it is important to talk about the subject now. In his book, Patterson will outline why he believes the U.S. cannot win wars as long as the Left wields significant political power.
“You’ve got a situation where the American Left is choosing to side with Islamo-fascists,” says the Clinton aide. “What does that tell you about what their true intentions are?”
The author is concerned about what that portends for the nation.”

“Man with tuberculosis jailed for not wearing mask”
POSTED: 11:09 a.m. EDT, April 3, 2007
ARTICLE SNIPPET: “PHOENIX, Arizona (AP) — Behind the county hospital’s tall cinderblock walls, a 27-year-old tuberculosis patient who spent years living in Russia sits in a jail cell equipped with a ventilation system that keeps germs from escaping.
Robert Daniels has been locked up indefinitely, perhaps for the rest of his life, since last July. But he has not been charged with a crime. Instead, he suffers from an extensively drug-resistant strain of tuberculosis, or XDR-TB. It is considered virtually untreatable.
County health authorities obtained a court order to lock him up as a danger to the public because he failed to take precautions to avoid infecting others. Specifically, he said he did not heed doctors’ instructions to wear a mask in public.”
