SCHOOLS AXE CONTROVERSIAL SUBJECTS
Schools are dropping controversial subjects from history lessons - such as the Holocaust and the Crusades - because teachers do not want to cause offence, Government research has found.
The way the slave trade is taught can lead white children - as well as black pupils - to feel alienated, according to the study by the Historical Association.
Some teachers have even dropped the Holocaust completely from lessons over fears that Muslim pupils might express anti-Semitic reactions in class.
And one school avoided teaching the Crusades because its "balanced" handling of the topic would directly contradict what was taught in local mosques.

Iran is almost the least of the UK's problems.
I think they should stop teaching reading and writing because sometime in the future each of these kids will read or write something that will offend someone else.
PC run amuck.
Welcome to Dhimmitude.
Leaving students ignorant wouldn't be so bad in the US if the schools didn't also leave them illiterate. At least someone who knows how to read can find out things for himself. Learning ancient history (anything before 1980) doesn't come by osmosis.
April Fools, right?
As far as I know this is not an Onion-like article. Please, someone, prove me wrong.
Adieu Britain...once you were Great.

Teachers drop the Holocaust to avoid offending Muslims

Who says they haven't?
Political Correctness in the United Kingdom seems to run about 2-5 years ahead of here, so expect to see this bull$hit here in a short time. The NEA, ACLU, Media, NAMBLA, NOW, DNC, CAIR are all on the same page, working towards socialism/communism in the USA.
They should drop teaching math, as it will teach logical thinking and then they will want to learn about the other suubjects.
As a matter of fact they should just cancel shchool all together, they are all idiots already.
We have once again voted people into office that has in their genetic makeup, an aversion to freedom, self defense, and common sense. They haven't been in power 3 months and the gun bans are stacking up to be voted on. I don't want to seem too harsh on the Brit's and Aussies when we did the same thing. A .308 165gn BTHP in the hands of the citizenry can solve many problems very quickly.
This line is about where I stopped reading. School isn't supposed to be about feelings, it's supposed to be about reason, logic, and facts. Slavery is bad, but it's still going on in Africa which suggests maybe, just maybe, whitey is not the root of all evil. The Crusades were nothing more than a delayed reaction by Christian Europe to the Jihad of the Arabs.
As far as the Muslim students cheering for the Holocaust, there is a place for them since Hell is not an immediate option. They can be placed on suspension or expelled, then mommy and daddy to can send them to a madrassa in Pakistan for a "proper" Muslim education in Arab supremacy and Jihad./rant off
Close the schools.
They might upset someone.
Does this mean they can stop teaching global warming because it may offend those who don't believe in it?
Once more, the "merits" of diversity on full display. Diversity merely breeds contempt and a feeling of differentness. Homogeny and shared cultural values breeds a sense of belonging.
Now what is important in drawing those lines is diffferent from society to society, but it just goes to show what an immediate and universal failure multi-culturalism is going to be.
My sentiments exactly on Diversity, I have never seen where it does anything except lower the higher standards to a common denominator.
It can be seen in American schools every day.
Calculus will soon be dropped because it makes the kids feel uncomfortable.
