Fresh footage of two of the 15 British Navy personnel being held in Iran has been aired on Iranian television.
Only a few seconds of footage have been made available to Sky News so far, and it is unclear what the service personnel are talking about.
However, they appear to be 'confessing' that they strayed into Iranian waters before being seized and are shown pointing at maps.
It also appears that the footage features two captives who have not appeared in front of Iranian cameras before.
Disgusting.
Im so sick of this. Iran needs to be destroyed.
Seemingly the latest British plan is to send a high ranking Naval officer to Tehran to make a public pledge that the UK will never enter Iranian waters without permission, in a bid to get the hostages released.
Why are British personnel still at the Iranian Embassy?
Because they have decided to go down the path of "quiet diplomacy" rather than escalation. The Brits won't even use the term "hostages" so I seriously doubt they will do something as drastic as pull out of Tehran!
The Royal Marine Captain put in an 'apparently' while pointing at the Iranian seizure location on the map.
The Royal Navy Lieutenant is literally mocking the camera.
The RN and RM guys held in 2004 were subject to mock executions. All of them gave tongue in cheek apologies on camera to hasten their release.
Time or newsweek showed the photo and the "real" explanation causing the prisoners to be beaten.
Of course, we can always count on the rag media to cause more harm to our troops all for the sake of journalism.
Journalism is a term that denotes responsibility, integrity and fairness. Sensationalism, defeatism and hate anything Republican, American or Christian is the reality.
When I was in the Air Force we had a reporter that absolutely lied about a story line he was doing. We gave him the red carpet treatment and unprecedented access to the Minuteman III system and it's launch officers and maintenance teams. He did a total hatchet job on us just before the 1980 elections trying to sway opinion in favor of carter.
The reporter's name? Jeraldo Rivera.
