You really do have a problem. I am going to help you. This is a CONSERVSATIVE web site. Rudy is a LIBERAL. Conservatives do not like liberal candidates. Thompson is a CONSERVATIVE.

Why is that so hard for you to grasp? This evangelical freeper says "Run Fred Run!".

The constant attacks haven't had any effect on the poll here (f.r. )

Thompson is crushing them all, dobson is irrelevant.

Try not to confuse facts with "personal attacks and insults"? Are you familiar with the multitudes of threads started by Fair Opinion? Are you aware that each of those threads is intended to present some kind of damning information about candidates running opposing Rudy? Do you suggest that Fair Opinion (a RudyBot, as proven by the number of FO's redundant, pro-Rudy threads) should not be questioned as to his/her purpose and as to the supposed significance of said redundant postings? It is regrettable if you allow this to distress you. Perhaps a different thread?

It's my understanding that Rudy has recently joined the Church of the Holy Humpers.

Thompson spoke in 1997 at a fund-raising event at Freed-Hardeman University, a Henderson, Tenn., college associated with Churches of Christ. Thompson used his speaking fee to create an endowed scholarship at Freed-Hardeman for history and political science students, said Stephen Morris, assistant professor of political science and university counsel.

And Dobson's words or opinions are unassailble?

o, what's your point, if you have one, RudyBot?

He first posted this last night. He found some obscure offshoot of mormonism with a web page that looked like it was made on AOL and claimed that this was the Church Thompson belonged to. After numerous people pointed out his error, he just ran away. Didn't have the integrity to acknowledge he was wrong. Fortunetly for him, the thread was pulled.

I'm confused. Is being a Christian or a member of the Church of Christ a bad thing? I don't agree with everything that the Church of Christ teaches, but the "Main & Plain" things I do...like Christ died of the cross, was buried, and rose again in three days. Again I ask, "Is this a bad thing?"

Do you think Forbes and Ted Olson are also "unhinged" -- since they are strong Rudy supporters?

What are the other options? Stupid and bought? I'll have to go with "unhinged," for now.

I was walking across a bridge one day, and I saw a man standing on the edge, about to jump. I ran over and said: "Stop. Don't do it."

"Why shouldn't I?" he asked.

"Well, there's so much to live for!"

"Like what?"

"Are you religious?"

He said, "Yes."

I said, "Me too. Are you Christian or Buddhist?"

"Christian."

"Me too. Are you Catholic or Protestant?"

"Protestant."

"Me too. Are you Episcopalian or Baptist?"

"Baptist."

"Wow. Me too. Are you Baptist Church of God or Baptist Church of the Lord?"

"Baptist Church of God."

"Me too. Are you original Baptist Church of God, or are you Reformed Baptist Church of God?"

"Reformed Baptist Church of God."

"Me too. Are you Reformed Baptist Church of God, Reformation of 1879, or Reformed Baptist Church of God, Reformation of 1915?"

He said: "Reformed Baptist Church of God, Reformation of 1915."

I said: "Die, heretic scum," and pushed him off.

I meant the attacks and insults that posters to this thread are flinging at one another.

I'm not a RudyBot or a FredBot. But as the juvenile tone of this Romper Room discussion continues to escalate, I may become an AdminModeratorBot.

note the mispelling of in the last sentence of the word "denomination," which was spelled "demonination."

Freudian typing slip, Rudybot?

My guess is that Dobson has figured out that Thompson is a salking horse, and just wants to get his folks off of his potential candidacy. Apparently, Dobson has the good sense to realize what many here fail to see:

campaigning for someone who isn't running has political effects that might be completely contrary to those you intend.

I support Rudy, but Thompson is a very close second.

Frankly, seeing Dobson attack Fred Thompson for not wearing his religion on his sleeve makes me more likely to support Thompson.

All I want to know is has Fred Thompson ever comitted rape, comitted treason against his country in time of war, been involved in numerous criminal scams, used the IRS to attack his enemies, used his government office to enrich himself at the expense of the American people he swore to serve and protect. If the answer to all the above is no then he is Christian enough for me.
