If I remember correctly, the Hollywood Sign has burned and been rebuilt more than once before, so it's no big deal. The houses, and the people in them, are the big deal up there and that's what the firefighters are trained to protect.

Crews said the fire was contained at about 4 p.m., but firefighters are responding to hotspots.
No structures have burned.
