With all that smoke, all the Hollywood types might come out, but they'll never come around.

It's heading toward Forest Lawn Cemetery, but fortunately the folks there have had the brains to landscape with wildfires in mind...
Good luck to the firefighters!

Yeah, we just looked out our office window and saw it about 5 minutes ago. Hope everyone's okay.

It's right behind the HOLLYWOOD sign.

Fire started behind Oakwood Apartments on Barham....fire is now spreading Eastward on top of Forest Lawn Hollywood Hills....engines deployed on top of Mt Lee which houses transmitters for LAPD, LAFD, TV, Radio, and all kinds of other stuff.

I bet the number of bodies pulled out of the flames will be hugh... Well, I imagine they don't want the place looking like heck when friends and relatives come to pay their respects to the occupants :)
Wish more people out there had the brains to do that.

That brings back memories when we lived in Yucaipa as we watched from the backyard as helicopters made drops in the Little San Gorgonios that were on fire.

Hope they can contain the fire because a lot of history is in the path of that fire. Wish I could send you some of our OK rain that has broken our drought and now calling for flooding here.
