Wow, that sucks. Thanks for serving!
The little boy looks JUST like his daddy!
Thank you for serving. My dad was a career Navy officer. He was gone on some long stretches - sea duty and various missions when I was a little girl. The days that he came home were like Christmas and birthdays rolled into one. :-)
I cried this morning, when I saw it on the news.
I knew I should have waited until I got home to watch this. Thanks for posting it. God bless our troops and their families.
I'm a big guy too, sitting here at work, and I'm crying.
I have a 6-year-old daughter myself.
And words cannot express the hatred for those insane murderous bastards of the Islam Death Cult. The horror and heartbreak they bring to not just our families, but their own fellow citizens.
very well stated. thank you.
Thank you for your service.
Am an old Navy kid here, career, mostly carrier duty dad, back when cruises ran 9 months. I knew then; and really do now as an adult; that my Dad could pack more quality "Dadding" into those 3 months than some who came home every night :)
I remember too, knowing just how difficult the adjustment was for my folks as a couple. Watching them work out the division of the millions of little daily responsibilites, that previously had been all Mom's business ;} Couldn't have had a better primer on how strong marriages require a strong man and a strong woman, both ready to do what needs to be done.
Thank you again, and to all who serve, with their families who keep the home fires burning.

Bump
Thank YOU.
i wish i could see it! it won't play on either of my PC's! :(
Sorry, I will try to dry up that font the next time I post :-)
I cried this morning when I saw it on TV, too. Now I am crying again! Though I could do without Matt Lauer's little commentary at the end... but what a moving video. Just amazing. God bless that family!
Glad I didn't watch this at work. Everyone would be wondering why the cop was all misty eyed.

My WMP does not work.
Hopefully tears of joy for coming home safely and out of harm's way.
Not a dry eye here either. Thanks for sharing that...and for your family's sacrifices
Stop the senseless bickering with liberals. They fight too...with the help of our military, while they demean them and this country.
