Could be. Looks like Giuliani has a case of the Kerrys. talking out both sides of his mouth.
"Guiliani Derangement Syndrome"
So anyone who doesn't support a Liberal for POTUS is deranged?
Did I fall asleep and wake up on DUh?
Sure, that Reagan was such a stinkin' liberal. How dare he push for the Brady Bill. /s
Intelligent people are able to recognize that the standard to be applied is the Constitution - not a former politician's view on the issue.
"Sure, that Reagan was such a stinkin' liberal. How dare he push for the Brady Bill."
He was out of office and had alzheimers. What's your reason?
Won't you please respond to the points in #198

It WORKED. Sorry, but it worked. In a place like Germany, Hitler had to be flexible and IT WORKED. Do you understand what I'm saying...IT WORKED.
He's not a liberal, he's running as an R

Nah, we have LDS. Liberal Discernment Syndrome. We can discern that Rudy is a liberal.
Gun Control Quotes
"Today, we need a nation of Minutemen, citizens who are not only prepared to take arms, but citizens who regard the preservation of freedom as the basic purpose of their daily life and who are willing to consciously work and sacrifice for that freedom."
- John F. Kennedy
Quotes on Gun Control
"And that said Constitution be never construed to authorize Congress...to prevent the people of the Unites States, who are peaceable citizens, from keeping their own arms..."
- Sam Adams, Philadelphia Independent Gazetteer, Aug 20, 1789
Gun Control Quotes
"Probably fewer than 2% of handguns and well under 1% of all guns will ever be involved in a violent crime. Thus, the problem of criminal gun violence is concentrated within a very small subset of gun owners, indicating that gun control aimed at the general population faces a serious needle-in-the-haystack problem."
- Gary Kleck, "Point Blank: Handgun Violence In America"
Gun Control Quotes
"In fact, because many Americans keep guns in their homes, burglars in the United States spend more time than burglars in other countries casing a house to ensure that nobody is home. As a result, countries with high gun ownership rates experience dramatically fewer break-ins during periods when the residents are at home."
- John R. Lott, The Bias Against Guns
Quotes on Gun Control
"Blaming guns for crime is like blaming spoons for Rosie O'Donnel's obesity."
- Travis McGee
Gun Control Quotes
"The great object is that every man be armed. Everyone who is able might have a gun."
- Patrick Henry
"He's not a liberal, he's running as an R "
If Rudy wins the nomination it's not my fault for not voting for him.
It's the RINOs fault for seeing politics as team sports, rather than voting for principle.
Or course if one has no principles...
I will never vote against individual liberty!
When you discuss another Freeper it is considered forum courtesy is to PING THEM.
Period.
The end.
"When you discuss another Freeper it is considered forum courtesy is to PING THEM."
Noted.
Still, it should be in the forum rules or something. There are plenty of other written rules.
I didn't realize there were a bunch of unwritten rules, and unappointed people in charge of name-calling others to get them enforced. As if "newbie" was an insult...
When I lived on Cape Cod (I know, I know - Massachusetts), the local police chief, mandarin-like, made the decision whether a citizen applying for a gun permit had a good enough REASON.
So if you were disinclined to prostrate yourself before the security bureaucrat, you were pretty much out of luck.
Naturally, the Second Amendment wouldn't be considered a good REASON.
Playing for the team is an important concept here.
As a sophomore on my HS varsity FB team (35+ years ago), I thought I was a much better QB than the lead-footed, noodle-armed incumbent. I was very unhappy that the coaches preferred the incumbent because of his leadership skills. (He was a senior). However, they convinced me to play halfback and strong safety (we played both ways in those days) for the good of the team.
Despite my unhappiness, I tried to be the best halfback, kick returner, and safety that I could be for the sake of the team. I was only one of many contributors to our first league championship in 20+ years. When I look back, I realize that winning was the best experience I could have had. I may have been the better quarterback, but he was the better leader and he had the confidence of the team and the coaches.
Now go forward, grasshopper.
"Now go forward, grasshopper."
This isn't a football game. The consequences are much deeper.
What good is a leader who can take us to victory, if he defines victory as abortion, gun grabbing, and appointing scumbags like Kerik to high positions?
AARRGGHHHHHHH...can you guys please please, I beg you, come up with something other than Hitler as an analogy...it's SOOOOOOOO boring.
Pokemon did it too (how's that ;) )
Sticks and stones...if we're lucky, Guiliani will be our next President...and you'll have at least four years of whining. It must suck to be you.
I know...It's Hitler time....no matter what issue, when all else fails..bring out the HITLER CARD! It's so old and tiring.
