Maybe not. But he is no Rudy Guliani [sp?] either.

Is Fred Thompson Ronald Reagan? No. There was only one Ronald Reagan.

Is Fred Thompson presidential material? Sure. His votes in Congress and the things I've heard him say in public show me he has a good strong backbone and a pretty good conservative head on his shoulders.

Thompson does not have executive kind of experience, the author is right. That's true of some of the other candidates as well, and is something to consider.

The title of this article begs one question:

When Reagan was running, who was he not?

I am jumping into this discussion late.

I have no problem nominating a candidate who begrudgingly accepts the mantle of leadership over a candidate who openly lusts after power...one who has been in public office his entire life.

We should be skeptical of all candidates. It always comes down to selecting the candidate who is least likely to damage our Constitution and country. Getting all a twitter about this candidate or that candidate seems kind of silly, IMO.

Only Reagan was Reagan.

Fred Thompson is Fred Thompson.

Rudy Giuliani is Nelson Rockefeller with less money and uglier women.

As far as I know, Fred Thompson is not a candidate for the Presidency.

Until he announces, critizing him is just butt noise.
