Thanks for doing this. I want to ask a question of anyone on this thread. Has anyone ever gotten sick from eating a salad in a restaurant?

No. But that can be pretty serious being that it's not cooked. I think E-Coli is often a culprit in salad poisoning.

Oh yeah. You have to careful when you eat salads in restaurants, especially if you have a delicate stomach.

The rusty looking ends on the lettuce is actually bacteria and you can get diarrhea so fast it isn't funny.

I often get headaches from restaurant salads. I don't know if it's what they spray on the lettuce or what it is. I also have some serious food intolerances/allergies, like gluten, corn, and dairy which seem to be in everything, that I rarely eat out any more. Even when I order food that seems like it would be "safe" for me I end up with a reaction. You just don't know what they do with your food, or what they put on it, back in that kitchen! :)
