In response to the democrats passing their ANTI-TROOP bill, President Bush made a statement from the White House, vowing to veto it. [this bill] has no chance of becoming law. Accompanying the president were members of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, families of deployed service members and families of those who have paid the ultimate price for our freedom. (Transcript)
Secretary of State Condoleeza Rice met with the Iraq Provincial Reconstruction Team at the State Department.
Press Secretary Tony Snow made an announcement about his health at the end of todays press briefing. (Transcript)
On a lighter note, President and Mrs. Bush welcomed the family of former President Johnson to the Oval Office for the naming of the Lyndon Baines Johnson Department of Education Building. (Click here for more information)

***Jim Robinson doesn't even pay us minimum wage. Anthing you get from free labor is better than nothing.***
Thanks for all you do. Too bad I now have to report Jim Rob for hiring illegals and paying them less than minimum.
(LOL)
Oh yeah. You have to careful when you eat salads in restaurants, especially if you have a delicate stomach.
The rusty looking ends on the lettuce is actually bacteria and you can get diarrhea so fast it isn't funny.
Thanks for the answer...I have been wondering for some time what was causing it.
Well said!
"They've been waving that white flag for 40 years"
Yes, but it just never seemed so blatant and dangerous. Thank God we've had good men rise up at the right times.
President Bush waves as he walks back to the Oval Office of the White House with White Deputy Chief of Staff Karl Rove, left, Friday, March 23, 2007 in Washington. The president was returning after attending a private republican fundraiser.
I turned my ankle and fell today though, so I'm hobbling a bit and keeping it iced and elevated, but it's nothing serious.
Mystery! What a great picture!
Thank you...he sent me several today taken with night vision...this one stood out.
The phrase is only used by those who have no respect for him to begin with.
It's an endless, meaningless threat, and it's used whenever the President doesn't dot the i of the malcontents............and in this case, even when he does.
Meaningless.
Yayyy!!! Thanks, jonny! Karl rules! :P
Yikes! I hope it gets better soon. Ankle injuries suck.
I know I am down to only a few threads that I can feel reasonably sure I won't have to scroll through a bunch of anti-Bush posts.
And, there aren't very many radio talk shows that I can listen to either.
This one's minor. A few days of taking it easy and I'll be fit as a fiddle. :)
(Actually, my knee and hip hurt almost as much since I fell on them after my ankle twisted).
Today I was listening to Rush, and when he started in on how perfect Reagan was and how people in the country were moving away from traditional morality because President Bush wasn't a 'conservative communicator' I just shouted at the radio "SHUT UP!" and turned it off.
My interest in politics (lifelong) is being sucked out of me.
Sorry to be such a downer on this thread...........
In that picture, Karl Rove looks like he has lost weight.
I like that photo too. The lady in the background looks especially sharp.
I think one look at the many recent thread titles with the errant "?" in the middle of them should have been a clue that there was a general problem somewhere. Thanks for all the work you do on this stie.
