I live near where we actually have a restaurant named “Roadkill Cafe”. I thought it was a joke since the place looked sorta rundown.

But about a month ago, the places made the evening news as it burned to the ground and I could see that while, ahem, rustic looking from the outside, it clearly had, er ah, character in it’s interior decor.

Well, neighbors and fans of the place all got together, helped the owner clean out the place and helped get some contractors in to to work on it for “base pay” instead of the higher contractor rates.

Happy to report that the place re-opened last week and it’s looking like a bright future for the owner.

Despite the name, they have a disclaimer on the menu posted on the door that all of their food is locally grown, US Gov. inspected and healthy to eat!!!

Prayers up for the SNOWMAN.
