Tony's doctors have detected a growth of some kind. He will have surgery on Monday. They are not saying that this is or is not cancer. Please be so kind as to offer your prayers, your support for this good man.
Happy Easter, tol! Happy Easter to all! :-)
:-) Our Vigil lasted three hours and baptized two and confirmed and accepted about 6 or 7 people. Those being confirmed had an opportunity to give a small speech. The one that was the most compelling was one young man, I think he was in his late twenties, said that he’d been an unofficial member of this parish for 18 years and that he was glad that he was welcomed by the Parish and the Church.
When the pastor came by with the holy water, he loaded up the branch (not sure what kind of leaves) and he really pelted it. I started to laugh, he smiled, he reached in and really let me have it. I laughed loudly (so did the woman next to me- she runs the faith formation committee). I was drenched. LOL
((((((((((((((((((((TOL))))))))))))))))))))
Happy Easter, mware! I hope that you are better soon!
Here’s another cute photo and story

I cannot help but feel nostalgic looking at that picture!
What a beautiful baby!
I do not think I can convince my kids to wear bunny suits now! ;0)
What’s for dinner today?
:-) We are on the South Beach diet because Mom is having an issue with an anti cholesterol medicine. We have a ham and we will have veggies. Fresh strawberries for dessert.
Is your turkey roasting now? :-) I think it’s wonderful that you get filet mignon, if you can’t have turkey breast.
(BTW good butcher shops sell natural turkey breast halves. They are smaller, but you can get as many as you need)
LOL, we had 14 Baptised not sure how many others as I missed it. This morning was so packed I was safe from the water.
LOL
It was funny.
Here is a photo I took of our Church. About 5 of us including our parish priest spent about 4 hours decorating it, not counting the time we took to eat a couple pizza's.
Wow!
Great job, mware!
LOL We had a plain altar, no flowers, until the lights came on. Then a number of helpers brought out the flowers and the altar and podium runners. Nothing close to what you folks did.
This message is very late, but it's not without prayer for you and your family. Know that you are in my prayers every day, and tbat I learned so very much about faith from you.
Without examples such as you, what would we know?
We love you, Tony, we love you forever and always. That's all you need to know.
I will be traveling most of the day, but read Betsy Newmark and the links on the peepathon :-)

Peekabo, I Almost See You
Middle-aged life is merry, and I love to lead it,
But there comes a day when your eyes are all right but your arm
isn’t long enough to hold the telephone book where you can read it,
And your friends get jocular, so you go to the oculist,
And of all your friends he is the joculist,
So over his facetiousness let us skim,
Only noting that he has been waiting for you ever since you said
Good evening to his grandfather clock under the impression
that it was him,
And you look at his chart and it says SHRDLU QWERTYOP, and
you say Well, why SHRDNTLU QWERTYOP? and he says one
set of glasses won’t do.
You need two.
One for reading Erle Stanley Gardner’s Perry Mason and Keats’s
“Endymion” with,
And the other for walking around without saying Hello to strange
wymion with.
So you spend your time taking off your seeing glasses to put on
your reading glasses, and then remembering that your reading
glasses are upstairs or in the car,
And then you can’t find your seeing glasses again because without
them on you can’t see where they are.
Enough of such misshaps, they would try the patience of an ox,
I prefer to forget both pairs of glasses and pass my declining
years saluting strange women and grandfather clocks.
Ogden Nash
I highly recommend “Reservoir Peeps” at number 16.
Get well soon, and get back to the WH. They need you.
