Chicago -- This wasn't any barfight caught on tape. An angry man pummels a much smaller female bartender. As it turns out, he's a Chicago police officer and late Tuesday night he was taken into custory. Craig Wall has the complete details on this exclusive story.

I saw that on Fox. She tried to cut the creep off. Obviously he needed it. I hope the book is thrown at him and he gets a maximum sentence. Law enforcement officers should be held to very high standards.

I used to bounce in a rowdy bar, many years ago. Sometimes the hardest part was clawing my way through a ring of pistoning elbows when some putz went over the line and started something. The patrons would ratpack him, and I'd usually drag what was left out and dump it on the curb.
Smacking the bartendress would have been unthinkable. The miscreant that did that would've been killed.
Funny place. I walked in one night with a cat. I put him on the bar and ordered a 'snakebite and a chaser for me, and a saucer of milk for my friend, Spaz". We got served. :-)

"I'm wondering how tough he will be when his roomies in jail find out he's a cop and beats up on little women."
Yep. If he goes in, he's toast.

Good thing only the cops are allowed to have guns in Chicago.

I agree with the attorney in the video. Years back I never would have thought that policemmen could act that way. Today, entire different story. The only 'terrorism' that I have seen, and even experienced, during past 15 years were at the hands of the police.

I bet the guys in the bar knew he was a cop. They protect their own.
???. You mean the other people in the bar were cops? If there were any in the bar they have problems.

Bartender never even took an eight count. She kicked his ass just by standing up.

Look at those fricking COWARDS stand there and WATCH! I saw the clip and thought the same thing. I'd hate to be someone getting the crap beat out of me while BIG GROWN MEN stood by doing nothing.

What a big brave man he is...he can be so proud of himself beating a little woman like that......I bet this isn't the first time he's done it...someone should talk to his wife if he has one.....and all the *men* standing around watching...what a bunch of pu$$ies!

but I saw at least 3 good sized men there. What wimps.Since most cops hang out at the same place, odds are that some of the watchers were also cops.

According to this article off of Drudge, not only did they try to pay her off, but the department decided to charge him with a
gorram misdemeanor before the state stepped in to file felony charges.
If that's true, there's a whole lot more that needs to be cleaned up in that department than just one dirtbag.

I have many police friends. They are the salt of the Earth. There are bad cops, and the good police hate them as much as we do. They usually are dealt with withing their own society... and they usually get dealt with damn well! A bad cop does not want another cop at his back, especially when that other cop hates him. Payback is a ************!

I'm sure some will claim "the b*tch set me up," that she entrapped him.
It seems to happen on every thread that alleges police wrongdoing.
