Gore on Climate Change
Former Vice President Al Gore appears before a House Energy Subcmte. hearing on Global Climate Change. He’s joined by Professor Bjorn Lomborg, author of a book titled, “The Skeptical Environmentalist.” Gore will also appear later today before the Senate Environment & Public Works Committee.

For the US, it is more than birth rates. We had 203 million people in 1970. We have 301 million now or almost 100 million people 37 years later. Since 1990 we have added 53 million people. By 2030, we will have 364 million and by 2050, 400 million. 3/4 of the population increase of the US is due to immigration, legal and illegal.
Since the US consumes more energy per capita than any other country, I wonder what big Al has to say about that.
I'm watching this now online. Gore is blowing smoke up Dingell's a&$ now. This seems very much like Gore senses he has an opportunity to preach. The last five minutes do not tie into the topic at hand at all. Yuck, it's like a fingernail on a chalkboard listening to this arrogant blowhard.
We live on a little blue marble that twirls with precision around a ball of gas 93 million miles away. I cannot comprehend how humans can affect the forces that keep our gases, liquids and solids in a relative stability. Otherwise our entire planet would just be atoms of debris in our huge galaxy.
