Using Live Mice...
Posted on 03/20/2007 12:30:33 PM PDT by John Robinson
We technicians here in the Free Republic server room experimented with real mice attached to our computers. Unfortunately, not one mouse survived being plugged-in for more than a few minutes. We've reverted back to the hamsters, they're more durable and they know how to dance to the electronic pop music we enjoy.
You should notice a significant improvement in response time.
Go go hamsters.

There's new stuff in the cooker, it's been very slow going though. :-( All except the youtube/flash are on my list. I'll consider adding those. 350 degrees usually works wonders :-)

Wow, your home page just made me cry.It does me too, I rarely go to look at it, it makes me mad also.
And Thank You but I can't take full credit. I stole it from another FReeper, with their permission, and put it there.

I hope that response was tongue-in-cheek.
If so, carry on.
If not, you clearly don't know who you're dealing with. Hint: examine the last name closely.

Ah, thank you!
That's one of my all-time favorite Kliban cartoons, but I didn't have the bits.
My other favorite of his is "The Birth of Advertizing".

Hello, John.
The system modifications seems to have affected special characters. (A Cross, in the case of my tagline.)
