I'm glad he is standing by Al.

IT IS CONGRESSIONAL REPUBLICANS THAT FOLKS SHOULD BE UPSET AT.

A White House can't usually put up fights when its party allies on the Hill won't fight at all.

This move by Bush shows he has balls as big as boulders.

Any intrusion on any one of the original Bill of Rights is a one-issue that I will consider a valid "one issue item".

( yeah, yeah, I know ...here comes the 13 year old, "You mean I can't say what I feel !!!??")
Uh, go ahead and sound stupid.

actually, the President should be calling the RINOs to the Oval Office carpet.....and reading them their rights....before he calls Luca Brasi.

He's (Tancredo) mentioned the "impeachment" because of the President's handling or lack thereof, of the illegal immigration situation.

IMHO, Tancredo is a loose canon.

LOL...no the physical part of my head is okay...it is my brains I worry about.

My problem is I try to multi-task..and my brain isn't wired for it.

I need to NOT post until I know for sure what is being said...I learned that lesson...LOL

Well, take it up with The Weekly Standard; that's where I read it.

I don't have to take it up with anyone. If this is what the Weekly Standard said, they are wrong. Simple as that. This is just another urban myth. I provided you with the GAO Report so I hope you don't still believe what you asserted, i.e., "Bill Clinton did take the time to make almost ALL his political employess CIVIL SERVANTS before he left office."

The real problem is that the majority of USG civilian employees are on the Left of the political spectrum. It is why the USG employee unions support Dem candidates and the liberal agenda. It is not necessary for the Dems to try to imbed politicial appointees. They already have their supporters in place, i.e., career USG employees.

If I were Bush I would have said "we're investigating Senator Schumer's office for any illegal activity they committed with regard to Michael Steele's credit report last year." A full scale investigation begins today and I'm appointing Ted Olson as lead investigator!

My idea of multi-tasking is peforming a task while thinking and breathing at the same time. ;)

He isn't going to pardon him while there's still a chance he could get a new trial. Scooter doesn't want to be a pardoned felon, I'm sure.

I guess if you have enormous wealth, it doesn't matter if you have to pay huge legal fees on the appeal or a new trial. I guess Marc Rich paid him well. I wonder why he has a legal defense fund.

If I were just a normal person, I would want a pardon now and not have to go through another trial or appeal. He will be sentenced in May.
