I was diagnosed in October of 2005. I was on a fat free (as close as possible anyway) and fried food free diet. I still am a little skittish about eating food with fat. I sure would like to sink my teeth into a shake and bake pork chop.
You have to be careful after the surgery because you can't concentrate your bile and a big load of grease will go straight to the colon without being digested. (like grease through a goose) However, with proper training and perseverence, you will be able to knock down a fried chicken and wash it down with gravy. You just have to keep your eye on the goal and keep pushing the limits. ;)
