We all know that EV can neither "make" nor break a candidate, so his posts are just impotent rants.

As Ann Coulter said to Mitt backstage at CPAC, his views on abortion are like Reagan, also a flip-flopper.Yep. Ann of course endorsed Mitt at the end of CPAC.

My candidates are doing just fine.Alan Keyes isn't a senator, he's not even a U.N. Amabassador, but I hear he gets ticked off if you forget to call him one.

But I can raise my one voice in opposition to liberal politicians shifting with the political wind and trying to convince naive conservatives that they're one of them. Some folks, unlike certain people on this thread, actually listen to facts about politicians' words and record.

Is it possible for you to have one exchange with me without bringing up Alan Keyes?

Reagan also changed his views on abortion. BTW, so did Guiliani.

I thought you'd know by now that when people like a candidate they tend to overlook his negatives. I am happy to let everyone make their own choice even though I wait until at least the first candidate debate before I select my personal favorite.

Big Sky, I met Allan Keyes in person more then once. He was very ingratiating. From what I could see that wasn't true.

Again, the facts about Reagan and abortion are not similar to the facts about Romney and abortion.
I've been sadly amused by the felt need of the Giuliani and the Romney supporters to try to tear Reagan down to their candidates' level.

Right. Right. It's a flat-out lie. I think I've got a bit more experience interacting with him than you do, and not only have I never seen such a demand from him, it is not even close to being part of his character.

That's a nice way to see it! : )
Whether his conversion is true or not is tough to tell at this distance. But he's running on a pro-life plank and he cannot go back. Considering all his other many, many pluses that's good enough for me.

There are differences, but both changed their positions on abortion.
