Guess what??? As I rounded the last bend in the road before the stop sign before my block, A MAMA MOOSE WAS RIGHT THERE IN THE ROAD. I slowed to a stop as she strolled across the street RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME!! Surprise!!



A moose in the middle of the road
was not wearing a snood, but
cut loose with a moo which left the trees rumbling.
How humbling to meet two tons of meat
ambling so casually along a main fairway
your foot hits the brake, you pray for heavens sake
to not be wearing moose hair in your hood,
in your hair or anywhere.
So slowly you go along the avenue to CM Drive
realizing you're alive, with the real need for a brew.
