For four decades there have been rumours that Marilyn Monroe's death was not a simple suicide. Now a Los Angeles-based Australian writer and director, Philippe Mora, has uncovered an FBI document that throws up a chilling new scenario.
BOBBY KENNEDY'S affair with the screen idol Marilyn Monroe has been documented, but a secret FBI file suggests the late US attorney-general was aware of - and perhaps even a participant in - a plan "to induce" her suicide.
The detailed three-page report implicates the Hollywood actor Peter Lawford, Monroe's psychiatrist, staff and her publicist in the plot.
The allegations suggest the 36-year-old actress, who had a history of staging attention-seeking suicide attempts, was deliberately given the means to fake another suicide on August 4, 1962. But this time, it is suggested, she was allowed to die as she sought help.
The document, hidden among thousands of pages released under freedom-of-information laws last October, was received by the FBI on October 19, 1964 - two years after her death - and titled simply "ROBERT F KENNEDY".
It was compiled by an unnamed former special agent working for the then Democrat governor of California, Pat Brown, and forwarded to Washington by Curtis Lynum, then head of the San Francisco FBI. Despite a disclaimer that it could not be sourced or authenticated, it was considered important enough to immediately circulate to the FBI's five most senior officers, including director J. Edgar Hoover's right-hand man, Clyde Tolson.
The report was in effect buried for decades as a classified document, and even the released version contains censored sections. Never before mentioned despite thousands of articles, books and documentaries about her death, it details aspects of Kennedy's on-and-off affair with the movie star, including sex parties and a lesbian dalliance. . .

Not a surprise, although it's hard to say whether these details are more accurate than some of the other stories, which include mob involvement and a poisoned suppository.
Certainly Joe Kennedy and his kids had plenty of ties to the mob. That's well documented. Maybe that aspect is in the parts that were redacted. Have to protect the FBI's connections to the mob, after all.
The Kennedys were at the Bates Ranch in Gilroy, California on that weekend. They signed in as visitors to St. Mary's Church on Sunday morning.
I think it was JFK having the affair and Bobby was the clean-up guy..........
Ok, so that's 2 out of 3, when does Jack's murder become public?
I don't think your post was ridiculous at
KSM was bragging, not confessing. And like Henry Lee Lucas, another braggart killer, he was lying.
Both Kennedys were doing Marilyn, along with Sam Giancana and who know what others.
The whole sordid affair was swept under the rug for nearly half a century. Everybody's now dead, except for CAROLINE, and Bobby's kids. Nobody really cares, anymore. The Left will continue to idolize JFK/RFK, as they always have...............
It is obvious that there is a lot of misinformation out there,
however. This article from Australia missed several key points, as I show in the link to the book.
The doctor should have told her to go for a drive with Ted Kennedy!
For example, Bobby had been in Los Angeles the weekend of Marilyn's death. In fact women at a card party next door to her home claimed they saw the Attorney General "and a man with a doctor's bag" enter her house the day she died. Yet Peter Lawford, then Kennedy's brother-in-law, insisted that RFK was not in California that weekend.

I'd heard that several years ago, as well.
According to books and reports at the time, Marilyn was calling talk radio shows at night in LA (while she was high) claiming she was having an affair with RFK.
I think that was true of the father. He was involved with the mafia; I'm not sure the sons were. If anything, I think they closed their eyes to what dad did on their behalf, preferring not to know. I still haven't seen or read anything that made me certain that Robert was even having an affair with Monroe. I think he was intrigued by successful and famous people, but I'm not sure that he had an affair with her. I think that their father was capable of anything, but I don't remember the date of his stroke.
The Kennedy's were in California at John Bates' ranch. I know several people who not only saw them there, they also attended church with them the next morning. Many of these authors didn't do their homework. Even the FBI had this part correct.
Murder Victim Shortly after returning to Chicago, Giancana was murdered on 19 June 1975 while frying Italian sausage and peppers in the basement of his home in Oak Park, Illinois. His murder took place shortly before he was scheduled to appear before a Senate committee investigating CIA and Mafia links to plots to kill Fidel Castro. The unknown assassin somehow slipped past the surveillance of the house by the FBI and the Chicago police and shot Giancana in the head seven times with a silenced .22 caliber handgun. Some have alledged that the CIA was responsible for the shooting as Giancana had a somewhat troubled history with the agency. However, CIA Director William Colby has been quoted as saying, "We had nothing to do with it." Most investigators believe Colby's claim, suggesting that it seems much more likely that Giancana's onetime friend and Chicago Outfit boss Joseph "Joey Doves" Aiuppa ordered the hit on the disgraced former Godfather. Giancana had reportedly continued in his refusal to share the profits from his offshore gambling operations. According to former Outfit associate Michael J. Corbitt, Aiuppa seized control of Giancana's casinos in the aftermath of the murder. It is widely believed that longtime friend and associate Dominick "Butch" Blasi was his assassin. Other suspects are Harry Aleman, Chuckie English, and Anthony Spilotro......
>> Unless this guy's evidence is VERY good, this is a totally classless thing to do, spreading rumors about the dead and all. <<
Yeah, it does such violence to the memory of the dead to release withheld evidence suggesting she was murdered. It makes so much more sense to prove them guilty, THEN search for evidence. /s
