Unto You, O Lord, we lift our highest praise, for You have graced our beloved land like no other ... from generation to generation, You have raised up God-fearing patriots who have fought to the death for our liberty and freedom. We weep for those who are no longer ... we grieve for families whose voice of beloved son and daughter has been stilled ... beautiful children of America who now live in memory. O that our tears would ease the heartache of families innumerable or that our weeping would overrule the evil that men do ... hear us as we cry unto You, O Lord, for the sake of every Son and Daughter of America.

May this Gathering of Eagles be consecrated unto You ... may it be a witness to the fierceness with which we are committed in Godly principle and right stewardship of all that You have given ... let those who come upon our defenders of faith and freedom be put to shame. Turn them back, O Lord, that their hands not desecrate that which we hold sacred ... that their voice be drowned out by purity of love and honor ... that those who now serve in defense of freedom will be honored by what we say and do in the hours and days ahead.

Most Merciful Father, may the Power of the Holy Spirit come upon those whose eyes do not see the beauty of this land ... whose ears do not hear the goodness of its people ... whose feet do not rejoice in walking in freedom ... whose hands do not hold in gratitude all that You have given. Change their hearts, Lord, for You are not willing that any should perish, such is Your love.

Blessings on our Freepers who are gathering at Walter Reed tonight to thank our wounded troops and their families as the Code Pink zealots do their best to create pain. I can only say to them, don't you think these heroes have had enough pain? They made their sacrifice for you and all of us, so that we would be safe, and you spit in their faces. Shame on you all!
