Thanks so much for all the wonderful, supportive messages. He doesn't FReep yet, but I told him I would set up an account so he could let us all know about the good things they do out there when he can.
This deployment is hard. It's hard simply because of the lack of mainstream support, so any of the libs out in the world who think that their "support the troops, bring them home" signs help, they don't. Flat out. That isn't support, and they aren't fooling any of these guys (and gals). I'm so glad you all who are going are going to relay that message. My little girls (7 & *) even know the difference, I don't understand how they don't get it. But I digress. Thanks again, so much.
