The whole world thought Saddam had weapons. He wouldn't play ball. And we couldn't have a perpetual scimitar of Damocles hanging over our heads, so we went in and we took a look. Dennis makes it look easy.

Dennis Miller is one of the few real brave MEN in HollyWeird that hasn't morphed into a liberal pu$$y or gone queer.

gone queer."Queer" is such a crude term. In the future, please have the good taste to substitute the term "John Edwards".
Thank you.

"Dennis Miller is one of the few real brave MEN in HollyWeird that hasn't morphed into a liberal pu$$y or gone queer."
That's because, and please correct me if anyone feels I'm wrong about this, he already morphed from a liberal pu$$y into a ?conservative?. Back when he was at his peak (probably the late 80's to mid 90's when he was just a stand-up comedian doing HBO specials) he was pretty damn liberal. And I mean, a pretty nasty liberal. I remember catching him a few years later, after he had seemed to disappear from earth, he was making a comeback, and was more conservative than ever. Hey, I like to see Hollywood try to speak with some logic and thought, but he's just another plastic poser.

but he's just another plastic poser.I couldn't stand him on SNL --at--- alll----.
Perhaps his Hollywood wilderness period was the mugging that turned the liberal into a conservative?
Weren't we all a lot more liberal-minded when we were young?
If you're not a liberal in college, you don't have a heart. If you aren't conservative after growing up, then you don't have a brain...

even Hitler chided him a little for what has to go down as the worst bluff ever in the history of the universe
Actually, his problem was his bluff was TOO GOOD. It got him overthrown because the whole world bought his bluff. (That is, of course, if you believe he was bluffing. I am one who does not equate the failure to find large quantities of MWD's with the conclusion that they weren't there. We gave the man a year's notice that we were coming in. The fact that they were gone, or at least not findable, should surprise no one. It's like the DEA announcing a raid on a drug dealers house a week in advance, and not finding the drugs when they do the raid.)

That was was the first thing I thought of too. His rhetoric and your humility are disarming.

The whole world thought Saddam had weapons...he did - we've got pictures of the thousands of Kurds - his own countrymen - that he gassed back in the '80's - none are so blind as those who won't see.......

"Dennis Miller freely admits he was a liberal....until 9/11."
Thanks, I did not know this. We could, however, probably debate all night on the accuracy and honesty of his reasons for "changing sides" - if 9/11 is the reason he is giving.
