I use polls of likely Primary voters. The mean for Rudy in the ones I've seen is about 27-29%, some higher, some lower.
That means now, at his peak, he is at best enjoying 30% support from the base - and every poll says the same thing about the base: they will desert him as they learn more about his stances on the issues.
We're not all Liberals, GOP1040 - I'm sorry if that hurts your hopes of transforming the party.

Sure can read a lot into a simple comment..."pick a poll".
If keeping the Presidency and retaking Congress is transforming the party, then I'm all for it.
