I am not surprised at all to learn that Chuckie Schumer lives in squalor.

Fat drunk and stupid is the way to go through Congress.
How could a story like this be written without including the monetary wealth of the men involved in this "endearing" story of democrats living like the "common man".
When you live like that as a wealthy adult, you’re just a cheap slob.
But currently, these guys are in charge.

4 U.S. Senators should easily afford to chip in and hire a cleaning person to come in a couple of times a week.
When a persons politics are sleazy, I suppose we should expect their personal habits to be the same.
Talk about a federal disaster area!! The collective IQ of these four slobs is less than 35.

My mother, God rest her soul, trained me and my brothers that being clean and neat was not optional in our home. We all made our own beds, cleaned the bathroom, and never {unless you wanted to be beaten} left anything strewn about.
50+ years since that training, and I still have the same habits {and Mrs. Alaska thanks the memory of my mother daily}. My hunting camp is cleaner and neater than the squalor these pigs have chosen to live in.

He talked about how it was when the Bushes were in the White House, people wore clean, neat clothes (jacket and tie were mandatory if you entered the Oval Office), and offices were kept scrupulously clean.
When the Clintons took over, the place was a mess...pizza boxes with half eaten slices of pizza, sagging half inflated baloons from a parties weeks earlier, trash all over the place, slovenly appearance and so on.
I am not a neat freak by any means, but I do believe in a professional setting that it says a lot about people. You can take one look at their workspace and get an idea. It is not always 100% accurate, but it is a good indicator.
That, and how you treat people who work "below your station". The people working in White House cleaning staff, kitchen, etc. HATED the Clintons with a passion. And they thought the Bushes were great. I can only guess at how the Secret Service feels, but after Lurch cursed a Secret Service guy who tripped him up skiing, I am guessing they are not kindly disposed to Liberals.
All so true. One woman on the cleaning staff at a liberal university said to the male students, "If you care about the poor so much, clean up after yourself."
I did inspections on sine_nomine_jr's dorm room.
My abusive parents forced me to clean up after myself. If I broke it, I fixed it or paid for it. Whining was a great way to get clobbered.
Being polite is another legacy to give our children. I run into college students (especially women) who think mouthing off is a great display of wit. Now we have national leaders who think nothing of mouthing off, showing no respect for the office of the presidency. They could make their points without such juvenile behavior, but their tantrums make their idiocy normative.
My 86 year old mother has a cleaning lady come to her house once a week. Mom precleans the house before the cleaning lady gets there. I tell her, "Mom that's what you are paying her to do". Mom says she doesn't want the cleaning lady to think that she's a pig.
My friend's cleaning crew actually left her a note complaining about the house being too messy and dirty!
Noticed Durbin killed a rat with a golf club. Wonder how he feels killing one of the family......
