First of all, I believe you're wrong that Guiliani has the ability to win in the general. Not only can he not defeat Hillary but he hasn't a prayer against Obama who may well be the Democratic nominee.
Secondly, there is a Republican candidate in the race who CAN defeat Hillary or Obama and is running on a conservative plank, Mitt Romney.
