The convictions will be overturned. But Fitz and the jury will have gotten what they wanted in the meantime.

Why would you say that? A look at my posting history will reveal that I've had very little to say about this case from the start.
I've predicted that Libby won't spend a day in jail. The only question is whether he has to get a presidential pardon, or if his conviction will be overturned on appeal (which became more likely by the day and probably became a near-certainty after Fitzgerald's closing arguments).
