RUDY: SHE'S NO EVIL STEPMOM; DEFENDS JUDI FROM HIS SON'S PARENT RAP (Judi's bitter divorce saga)

Rudy Giuliani vigorously defended his wife, Judith, as the perfect stepmom just days after his son, Andrew, revealed he doesn't get along with her. "My wife, Judith, is a loving and caring mother and stepmother," Giuliani told reporters after a meeting with Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger and county sheriffs.....he stood foursquare behind his wife, whose highly public relationship with Giuliani began while he was still married to the mother of his two kids.
Andrew Giuliani bluntly disclosed.... "There's obviously a little problem that exists between me and his wife." Sources familiar with the difficult relationship between the Giuliani kids and their stepmom said it started deteriorating before the couple married June 2003, but went south quickly after the wedding.
Giuliani's kids had hoped to carve out time to spend with their dad alone as things got worse, but he opted against it, the sources said.
At the same time, Rudy was involved in the life of Judith's daughter, Whitney, and even spoke at her graduation from York Preparatory school in May 2004. Sources say Giuliani has not visited Andrew at Duke, and that his relations with Caroline also are strained....even worse than with his son. Before she wed Giuliani, Judith went through a bitter court fight with Bruce Nathan over who would have custody of their daughter. Her ex-husband filed court papers in 2001 that said his daughter ran away from her mother when she was 16 and voluntarily moved in with him during the time when her mother was regularly at Giuliani's side in public while he was trying to get a divorce from Hanover.

Rudy's kids knew he was stepping all over them to get laid.Is that so?
And exactly where, intrepid Liz, did you acquire this knowledge?

Yes, these darn schleppers are very undesirable. They should be using makeup mirrors and breck hair products and receiving silk suits from enemy spies.

but I'd vote for anyone one of them if they can beat the beast. When the time comes, I will likely do the same. But that time is November, 2008, not now. Now is the time to find the best candidate and push them forward, not to throw out all the other candidates for the most liberal candidate just because they poll the best.

Damn Calpernia!
I guess all those people must LOVE 'schleppers' like Duncan Hunter eh?
Say Veronica, maybe you would like to venture a guess as to WHY General Chuck Yeager (you DO know who he is don't you?) has strongly endorse Duncan Hunter for President, but oddly enough, Yeager hasn't had anything at all to say about your boy Rudy?
Guess Chuck Yeager loves those shleppers too, is that it?

Not understanding what you are saying.I'm saying that I am mightly suspect of people who exploit the comments and emotions of teenagers and post-teens to come to definitive conclusions of the truth.

No Great President has ever had difficulties with their children, never... /s Besides Patti Davis, there're also FDR's five children.
Eleanor and Franklin's offspring were so messed up by their detached father and mother that they grew up to have, what, 20 divorces or something amongst them all?

Jeez, Nancy's closest friend on the planet is Merv Griffin. Merv was a pallbearer at Reagan's funeral. And Merv's said to be, well, you know.
And I recall that Betsy and Alfred Bloomingdale were the Reagan's closest friends for years and years. Google Alfred Bloomingdale....
Point being there is enough to go around if associations with unsavory types or gays is your standard.

Physical security is not National Security. A person who worked for ADT wouldn't be a good President.
Advising people on how to make sure their employees can evacuate a building if there is a fire is not "experience in National Security".
I'm not denigrating his company, those things are important to businesses. But it's not National Security.

You seem to have a real problem with large men.
Maybe it's because Rudy just has the girlish figure that looks oh-so-cute, eh?
I must admit I've kind of liked having a President that was not fat and was in excellent shape, but I'm not ready to dump a guy because he seems to like eating.
Uh oh, guess that means you like those 'schleppers', look out!

You know Reagan was an actor. I can guarantee you he knew gay people and was friendly with gay people. Imagine this. I don't get your point all people should not be discriminated against in their everyday life function live and move.
That does not mean we have to condone their life style!

To me and you the whole Mormon uproar is silly and nothing but typical MSM bull. But their are many many people who have seen one to many Dateline specials on the renegade Mormons in Colorado City. The public does not differ between the nuts and mainline Mormonism that well. I have even seen some here call Mormonism a "Cult". It is quite sad that we are still stuck on Religion with a candidate as opposed to their qualifications.

support of a liberal democrat for President has no place on a conservative message boardYou can begin the exploration of your mixed-up mental state by accepting that Giuliani is a registered Republican, and not a "democrat".
Uh, like, he was appointed Associate U.S. Attorney General by Ronald Reagan.

Precisely. Congratulations! Chuck Yeager did not feel the need to slime Rudy, in order to support Hunter.
I strongly suggest you and your pals emulate Chuck Yeager.

I hope I can aspire to be considered a Schlepper. I hope my children grow up to be Schleppers too.
MKJ, do you think I'm good enough to fit into Schlepper class? That is the class I would like to be associated with.
I never want to be a superficial, socialist MoveOn.Borg type. Or a security threat, morally bankrupt criminal like Stonewall.

"To assert that you can read gossipy news articles to assess the unvarnished "truth about Giuliani's marriages" is so egregiously false and arrogant that I'm astonished you would say it."
In the words of a our beloved 40th president (conservative) of the US, and I quote, "there you go again".
I didn't know that FR was a gossipy news forum. I don't read gossip magazines or gossip articles. I read FR and respond to people's comments that are made here on this forum. I didn't say what you are accusing me of "asserting" in your post, someone else did. Perhaps you are getting me confused with another poster, so please, take it up with him/her not me.
If you'd spend more time reading the five or six posts that I've written on this thread, instead of making these ridiculous assumptions, you would know that I am sympathetic towards Rudy having family problems. My issue here has been about Rudy's priorities--not spending adequate time with his two children, and yet he had plenty of time attending to the business of NYC. Plus he apparently was able to find time to go to his present wife's daughter's graduation, but not visit his own kids in college. I think this is a valid criticism, even if you don't agree with it.
I don't have time to keep addressing your false assumptions about what you think I said. If you are going to keep assuming things that aren't in my posts then, I am not going to waste any more time responding to you.
Have a good day FRiend!

No, tell us Veronica. Don't beat around the Bush. Are you saying that Merv Griffin is a homosexual? Yes or No. Put up or shut up.
And I recall that Betsy and Alfred Bloomingdale were the Reagan's closest friends for years and years. Google Alfred Bloomingdale...
Google it for us. You brought it up, cite the references.
Point being there is enough to go around if associations with unsavory types or gays is your standard.
Neither Ronald or Nancy Reagan ever marched in a homosexual rights parade which included activist pedophiles, and neither of them ever engaged in crossdressing.
Your attempt to hang Rudy on the coattails of the Reagans is both pathetic and meaningless.

Giuliani is selling his inves.... The article above talks about his consulting firm, in the context of the firm selling of a subsidiary that does mortgage/financial stuff.
It says this about their security arm:
Another division, Giuliani Safety and Security, suffered a setback in 2004 with the unexpected departure of Bernard Kerik, who faced ethical and legal problems after his withdrawal from consideration to be President George W. Bush's secretary of homeland security. The division has since grown under the leadership of a respected former FBI official, but it still had only about 10 clients as of January.
I contend that "security" is not the focus of the entire company, and doesn't seem to be a major part of their operations at this time.
