Al Gore could become the only man to win an Oscar, a Nobel Prize and his party's presidential nomination within a span of 12 months.
He already has collected an Oscar for his global-warming documentary ``An Inconvenient Truth.'' (Actually, that's two Oscars, if you count best song.) He's been nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize by an admiring Norwegian lawmaker. But to have a shot at the trifecta -- California's presidential primary will be 11 months from tomorrow -- Gore will have to declare himself a candidate for president.
We hope he goes for it.

"Al Gore has no friends."
Can you imagine the "swiftboating" manbearpig would get?
...A good choice for what?
The libs are falling back to Gore like they did with Mondale
Prediction: "Rodham/Gore"
(Bill and Hillary will divorce... Hillary beats Gore in the primary and offers him VP.)
Oh, Algore's a "good choice,' alright...
For dogcatcher, for lieutenant governor, maybe even for mayor of Nashville, since Nashvillains seem so indiscriminate in their governing tastes.
But President???
Who could be so crazy as to advocate Gore for President?
barf alert
Actually no one with a brain.
Murkiness.
"infinite capacity for self deception..."
ROTFLOL!
Did you know that Algore invented the internet?

James Carville: Al Gore Will Run in 2008
Democratic political strategist James Carville says Al Gore will run for president in 2008, but he fell short of offering his endorsement of that possible campaign.
Carville, appearing Tuesday as a guest on MSNBCs Imus in the Morning program, said Gores desire to run for political office might come, not from his Oscar win, but rather from something more primitive.
"Running for president is like having sex, Carville said. "You dont do it once and forget about it. You want to do it again. Hes run for president in 88, he ran for president in 2000. We know he wants to be president and the stars could line up. I suspect he will get into this race.
The CNN analyst, author and former Clinton administration operative, will likely support Sen. Hillary Clinton in the 2008 race, but Carville said he is not formally on board with her team.
