The same is the true of Mikey Moore. Moore is not an official of the Democrat Party (in fact, he insisted for many years that he was a "registered independent" until conservatives dug up the voter registration rolls and proved he was a Dem), and Moore does not necessarily speak for liberal movement (for instance, Moore disagrees with the looney "Free Mumia" crowd)

Nevertheless, Moore has become associated with the face of the anti-Bush crowd, and he is oftentimes an embarrassment to liberals. He will make a completely indefensible off the wall comment and the only thing his supporters will have left is to say "hey, Mike wasn't serious, he was making a joke, ligthen up". Even the Hollyweird crowd condemned his comments at the Oscars.

Ann is NO different in the way she has become an embarrassment to conservatives.

Except that Moore has been openly courted by the democRAT party. The democRATs have directly associated themselves with him and his views. The same cannot be said of Ann.
