Democratic Party boss Howard Dean demanded that Republican presidential candidates denounce conservative columnist Ann Coulter after she referred to Democratic presidential hopeful John Edwards as a ‘faggot’ during a speech Friday at a national conservative gathering.

Maybe...its just that we've been beat up and insulted by these people for so long that I get excited when someone fires back. These same people have no limits when it comes to insulting W. I say keep going Ann.
She got very few laughs at that one....and many a blogger including Michelle Malkin brought that up....Ann thinks she is some witty great comedian, but IMHO, she is all about one liners and sometimes when confronted that is all she is about....I'll make you a bet...if any of the conservative or Republican pundits come out tomorrow and agree it was a great thing to say, I'll stand corrected and go to my corner...if they don't, then they are either cowards or found it equally whacko.....

The fact that the left thinks that Republicans should apologize for an unelected or appointed commentator is laughable.

and you are entitled....I just try and not excuse my bad behavior by pointing to others bad behavior....but hey, that is Ann Coulter....that is her MO and that is how she conducts herself....one thing though, she had just kind of endorsed Romney and I'm not sure if he wants to be identified with that kind of humor during a Pres Election cycle
At least she didn't call him a dirty little faggot. You've got to give her that much. I think I'd just leave it at lightweight, myself, but then I don't have to draw the spotlight the way Ann does. With her it's a career necessity. :^)

....I actually wouldn't really even care except for the spotlight it puts on Conservatives and the time it wastes defending ourselves from this crap....I don't like Edwards one wit, but now instead of the issues, we are going to hear from the MSM about his....Ann gives them the ammo and takes the candidates out of the spotlight....that is all I'm saying....
If Edwards was gay I MIGHT agree with you. Otherwise it's an unjustified slur and she is a strumpet for saying it.
