Is he pro choice? I've heard that but don't know if it's true. Would you call him a moderate? Don't get me wrong, I'm not against him (though am supporting Duncan Hunter). I've always been uncertain where to peg him.

The Fox News story implied that he's pro-life, but like you, I haven't seen enough about his various positions to know. I do think he'd be a strong candidate, and probably the only one apart from Hunter that I would feel confident about in the general election.

He's not pro-choice; I remember that he voted against the Harkin amendment.

The only negative I can think of off the top (it has been a while is that he supported McStain's CRF.

He's a Moderate. See my previous post in this thread. He's not a conservative, but not a liberal either.

Fred Thompson is pro-choice.

He's also a good friend of McCain's.

I can't figure out why so many 'pure' freepers love him.

I like the guy, don't get me wrong, but I fail to understand how people that lothe McCain and think Giuliani is the RINO from hell love him. He's not really that much different.
