I think that has to be their reason --- they breathe Beltway and only Beltway.

Fred Thompson would wipe the floor with Hitlery. And her broom.

I hadn't really thought about the fact that Thompson was minority council at the Watergate hearings, while Hillary was a law clerk for the Dems. Now 30+ years later...

Said he was a former Senator coming from a TV show

He's the tall one on The Munsters, right? Went by Fred.

THOMPSON MAY RUN!

We at Opinipundit have been on board with Mitt Romney since the beginning. The possibility that former Senator Fred Thompson may run for the Republican nomination could very well cause us to reevaluate our position.

Stay tuned.

If he voted to drill in ANWR that tells us plenty about the man.

You must have missed all the fun at the hearings he held on the Clinton's selling our national secrets to the Chinese.

Hillary Clinton's top aide, Maggie Williams, was spending the day there in March 1995, when California businessman Johnny Chung walked into her White House office one morning and handed her a check for $50,000. It was just "a rather unusual circumstance," Clinton explained last week. She didn't actually ask Chung for the money as the price of admission to sit in on the President's radio address two days later. She wasn't "receiving" contributions on federal property; she was just passing them along. And she certainly didn't "solicit" them, which federal law forbids.

I don't know "the history" here (or "who started it"), but when I return to a thread to see someone expressly calling another member "stupid," I have to wonder about the poster's view of what constitutes "Personal Abuse" in violation of the forum rules.

Thanks. It still seems "rumor-ish."

A most interesting rumor, but still. Appreciate the info.
