Iranian Police Commander Says 4 Kidnapped Officers 'Probably Sold' to Jundallah

The commander of the Law Enforcement Force (LEF) has said: We think it probable that the four kidnapped LEF officers have been sold to Abdolmalek Rigi's mini-group.
In an exclusive interview to Fars news agency, Brig-Gen Esma'il Ahmadi-Moqaddam spoke about the kidnapping of four LEF officers by the Jondallah terrorist mini-group (Sunni militant group operating in Sistan va Baluchestan Province, led by Rigi). He said: I think that the rebels who kidnapped the four officers have probably sold them to Rigi's terrorist mini-group.

He added: As regards the rank of the kidnapped officers, exaggerations have been made in which they have been reported to be majors. This is not true. The kidnapped officers were in the junior ranks.

The LEF commander said: NAJA (LEF: in Persian: Niru-ye Entezami-ye Jomhuri-ye Eslami) is pursuing the case.
