"West Branch students develop strange rash"
UPDATE: 3:27 PM, Thursday, March 15, 2007
REPOSITORY STAFF REPORT
BELOIT
ARTICLE SNIPPET: "The school, which houses West Branch Middle and Beloit School is no longer on lock down. Middle school students were released about 2:50 p.m.
Superintendent Scott Weingart said the elementary students have also been released to their parents. The Mahoning County hazardous materials team is on the scene. "
ARTICLE SNIPPET: "The original group of children who became ill are from the same class of third- fourth- and fifth-graders. Those students had a rash only.
Weingart said earlier reports that students were having trouble swallowing are not true."
Thank you for the update Cindy. Hope they find out what caused these children to have the symptoms they exhibited. The parents must have been scared to pieces!
