It isn't even just the "religious right," this is a serious issue for a lot of people. The last time the GOP ran a pro-abortion candidate for president was Ford in 1976, this was only a few years after Roe v. Wade and the statistics from America's Holocaust weren't really available yet. This issue is A LOT more non-negotiable than even Rudy's pro-homosexuality and gun grabbing.
But if Rudy is prepared to lose this vote, maybe he could clue us in as to where he thinks he will pick up the extra votes from.
Even if he was pro-life, I cannot support him for at least 5 other major reasons.
