For the record, I am NOT unhappy; nor am I a desperate housewife, a traitor, or a treasonous liberal.

I'm just a bachelor, whose stomach gets desperate if I don't cook a meal for it now and again. ;)

"It will take a few years of democrat mismanagement to remind everyone what they were like. I don't need reminding, but apparently many do. I'm thinking 2014 for a mid term comeback."

Hello,

I believe that at the rate that the Dems are going, just in the first few weeks of having control of Congress, that 2008 could still be a possibility for the Republican Party.

I have been reading this thread this afternoon, and it does remind me of years past on FR. I lurked for a LONG time before I started talking here. There were times that things got so ugly, so heated, that I simply would take a few weeks off. FR survived it. It will again.

As to this particular issue, I do know that, in politics, an "All or Nothing" attitude gets you Nothing. That is not an endorsement of Rudy. I have not yet decided who I will back in this race.

We'll have to have a rotating contingent of two dozen FReepers, one for every hour of the day to keep up with your posts. LOL

Showing your ignorance once again for all to see.

You’re citing one of my posts from Homosexual Activists Consider Targeting Private Christian Schools for "Homophobia"

What can't be used against Rudy? The fact that he is a social liberal? He admits it. Is proud of his support for gay rights, abortion, gun control, illegal immigration, global warming, control of free speech, etc, etc.

--------------------

EternalVigilance : C'mon, these are all socialist issues. These are issues near and dear to the hearts of our finely feathered liberal fiends from the globalist/socialist/Marxist Democrat party. These are the issues they use to breakdown down our moral society, erode away our constitution, dissolve our national sovereignty, erase our borders, tear down our defenses, strip us of our national heritage and pride, divide and conquer our people. Caving to socialism step by step will destroy our Republic.
The global socialists are at war with us and are making great headway because we refuse to see it or react to it as war. The enemy within is just as dangerous if not more so than the foreign enemy.

JR and I disagree on this, but you completely misrepresented the issue.

The school involved is in Ottawa, Canada, and thus unless you’re suggesting we abandon our national sovereignty and dissolve our borders, an interesting article, maybe a warning of the threat of activism, but pretty much none of our issues. And in my view not a legitimate issue to bash Rudy over. Or to hyperventilate over. Canada does plenty of things I wouldn’t like to import, from health care to gun control. Of course I don’t think he’s part of an international conspiracy as a few here do.

And I don’t see any enemies within posting on these threads, any more than I see traitors or proponents of homosexuality.

Compromise with each other? You mean the conservatives should give in to the those among us who wish to support a woman's right to choose, gay rights, gun control, restrictions on free speech, insecure borders, etc, etc, ie, compromise with liberal positions which is exactly the same thing as compromising with liberals? Don't you see where your compromise is leading?

Sorry, but some things are simply not open to debate, not open to negotiation and not open to compromise.

I'll make my stand for God, country, family, life and Liberty!

Thank you very much.

"This is getting laughable...LOL"

Yes, there is entertainment value in some of the exchanges, but substance went out the window a few hundred posts ago...I have no doubt that, when I get home tonight, the thread will be well in excess of 1000 posts, at this rate...

I did NOT have it deleted; I wanted it to stay up; in fact,I asked the Mods to put it back so everybody who reads this forum could see it.

Howlin had a post deleted for the language in it. Mine were deleted because some people can't handle the truth.

BS.

They never did tell me who they were talking about they called "The Grifter."

Hmmmmm. I saw that same term used a lot at an anti-FR site I looked at once. It wasn't Yahoo. Hmmmmmm.

Here, here, MOgirl, the "all or nothing" attitude gets you nothing.

Personally, I am supporting either Guiliani or Romney at the present moment

If they were that bad, why is he not suspended? I imagine he got a warning...

I've seen plenty of warnings handed out by the mods through the years and those warnings were posted to the offender for all to see. I haven't seen a warning given on this thread yet, so perhaps rather than a warning, someone is being given a "high five" behind the scenes. LOL
