Compromise with each other? You mean the conservatives should give in to the those among us who wish to support a woman's right to choose, gay rights, gun control, restrictions on free speech, insecure borders, etc, etc, ie, compromise with liberal positions which is exactly the same thing as compromising with liberals? Don't you see where your compromise is leading?

Sorry, but some things are simply not open to debate, not open to negotiation and not open to compromise.

I'll make my stand for God, country, family, life and Liberty!

Thank you very much.

Well, I got my answer: your choice is failure in 2008, right?

FGS, that rant is just boilerplate and solves nor answers anything.

Jim......

Compromising within the base simply means that we agree to disagree on some relevant issue, but will come together for the general, for the good of the party and the welfare of the country.

The fact is, there are not enough of us otherwise and no good will be done, and the welfare of the country will be at risk with democrats controlling.

It is common sense, and the very definition of politics that guide politics, not calling every issue a principle and refusing to do anything but fight and destroy our party from within.

Politics is, and has alway meant "the art of compromise" It is what it is, and cannot be something else. We have definitions for those things as well, and they are something that we do not approve of. They being, Aristocracy, Autocracy, Theocracy, and a few others like Dictatorships.

The truth is, that without a coalition of the differing views in the Conservative family of belief's, we cannot win. We will not win.
