Well, as this forum was created to shake things up and reform our political landscape, given what's been going on lately, I must once again quote from my favorite (and most quotable) President, Theodore Roosevelt:
"There is, to every reform movement, a LUNATIC FRINGE."
And yes, THAT is where the phrase originated from. Along with many other pearls of wisdom our 26th President left us....

I merely suggested you follow CT`s example.
You seem so unhappy, it was just a friendly suggestion.

I suppose if your house WAS burning down, you would not let anyone help put the fire out if he was gay. That makes absolutely no sense. The fire was gay?

Each other, something that hasn't been done in years. And even though some of you all apparently believe that those of us here who are pragmantic REPUBLICANS are scum of the earth.
There is no perfect candidate, regardless of what some around here say.
I'm simply stating a fact: abortion and gay rights are NOT going to be a factor in 2008; if you all choose to try to make it one, we'll lose everything we've garnered to this point, whether you all think it's enough or not.
There will be two choices in 2008: R's or D's; I'm pulling the R, regardless of who it turns out to be. I will never, ever help another Democrat get in control of this country.
Call me unprincipled if you must.

"America, on the whole, is tired of war, and tired of the Bush/Cheney vibe in government. People are fickle. Voters even more so. They want change, and they're going to get it. Either we give them moderate change, or they'll take leftist change. Sorry, but them's the breaks."
YES YES YES YES! The exact message I have been trying to communicate (though with less succinctness and clarity, perhaps)

It was group at yahoo, that was supposed to be private, but one of the members posted a link to it at another site, and it turned out to be open to the public.
They never did tell me who they were talking about they called "The Grifter."

I don't think I've ever said that. I have said that I will do all in my limited ability to make sure that I never have to face that decision. I still have confidence in conservatism and the Republican rank and file and doubt that they will allow their party to go over the liberal cliff. If the Republican party officially goes lib lite, it dies. The country does not need two liberal parties. Cooler heads will prevail.

Has it occurred to you and your friends here, that Jim Robinson started and controls this thread...
..and the disrespectful tone you all have addressed to him is unconscionable.
I wonder at the man's patience...
I don't know why you think you can use your harsh words to discredit this good man and use his forum to denigrate others who hold the same beliefs as he espouses .....without response.
Personally, I find your posts insulting, irritating and wearying.
You have brought much divisiveness to this wonderful forum and I'm sad to see it.
If you disagree so strongly with the forum creator and a whole lot of like minded Freepers, why don't you find another forum or start your own?

You make an asinine remark like you did, and I'm gonna call you on it. Problem is, I'm not here all the time. We'll have to have a rotating contingent of two dozen FReepers, one for every hour of the day to keep up with your posts. LOL

I've been sitting here reading and just shaking my head. I'm also wondering who was responsible for all of those comments that had to be deleted. One would assume they were highly offensive, and one has to ask why that person wouldn't have been banned or suspended. That would be Fierce Allegiance.
Redrock, unfortunately due to that post of yours, the blood of aborted babies is on your hands. Just ask FA.
