The guy who posted that was lying and has been reported to the mods. His snippet came from some pseudo-Christian blog that had nothing to do with Hunter.

~ Thank you ~

Rudy's position on PBA is exactly the same as Duncan Hunters.....

OK, stupids, listen up. All of the PBA bans that went through congress carried the "life of the mother" exception. Rudy OPPOSED all of the PBA bans despite the presence of the "life of the mother" exceptions.

Further, Rudy's positions have been detailed in his own quotes on the subject that I've posted many times. I will post them again for your edification. His position on the matter is extreme and it is a gross mischaracterization (otherwise known as a freakin' lie) to compare it to Duncan Hunter's or any other Republican that I know of except for former Rep. Jim Kolbe and the small handful of well-known RINOs in Congress.

To make such a hideous claim against any of the conservative Republican candidates is gross libel and should not be tolerated by conservatives on a conservative forum. I don't know if you're doing out of spite, desperation, or sheer stupidity, but I urge you to stop.

Rudy Giuliani Supports Partial Birth Abortion...
Conservatives Don't Support Rudy Giuliani

[GEORGE] WILL: Is your support of partial birth abortion firm?
Mayor GIULIANI: All of my positions are firm. I have strong viewpoints. I express them. And I--I do not think that it makes sense to be changing your position....
ABC News February 6, 2000

TUCHMAN: Giuliani was then asked whether he supports a ban on what critics call partial-birth abortions, something Bush strongly supports.
GIULIANI: No, I have not supported that, and I don't see my position on that changing.
- CNN December 2, 1999

BLITZER: If you were in the Senate and [President Clinton] vetoed, once again, the [ban on the] so-called partial-birth abortion procedure, you would vote against sustaining that against the -- in favor of the veto in other words, you would support the president on that.
GIULIANI: Yes. I said then that I support him, so I have no reason to change my mind about it.
BLITZER: All right. So the bottom line is that on a lot of these very sensitive issues whether on guns, abortion, patients' bill of rights, taxes, you are more in line with the president and by association, with Mrs. Clinton, than you are against them.
- CNN February 6, 2000

MR. RUSSERT: A banning of late-term abortions, so-called partial-birth abortions--you're against that?

MAYOR GIULIANI: I'm against it in New York, because in New York...

MR. RUSSERT: Well, if you were a senator, would you vote with the president or against the president? [Note: President Clinton was in office in 2000]

MAYOR GIULIANI: I would vote to preserve the option for women. I think that choice is a very difficult one. It's a very, very--it's one in which people of conscious have very, very different opinions. I think the better thing for America to do is to leave that choice to the woman, because it affects her probably more than anyone else....

MR. RUSSERT: So you won't change your view on late-term abortion in order to get the Conservative Party endorsement?

MAYOR GIULIANI: It isn't just that. We shouldn't limit this to one issue. I'm generally not going to change my views
- NBC Meet the Press, February 6, 2000

***Note: the version of the Partial Birth Abortion Ban that Giuliani opposed in 2000, that he said he supported Bill Clinton in vetoing the Republican-controlled Congress's legislation, contained the exception for the life of the mother that Rudy is now trying to pretend is a prerequisite for his support of it.

Rudy's position on PBA is exactly the same as Duncan Hunters.....

I guess that Hunter is an abortionist now. As another poster said about Rudy, Hunters hands are covered in blood!

I'm pinging the STOP RUDY list to this post and one a few posts above it. Two of the Rudybots have made the claim that Duncan Hunter is an "abortionist" because he co-sponsored and voted for the PRO-LIFE Partial Birth Abortion Ban that Giuliani opposed. They further make the ludicrous claim that Giuliani's abortionist views are "exactly the same" as Duncan Hunters.

These two Rudybots have lost all sanity. So much so, that I would ask that the more intelligent Giuliani supporters start to police their own people when they make such wild statements.

You truly are idiotic. It's Giuliani and all his supporters who have abortion blood on their hands.

Please go re-read the info. Nah, don't bother, because your comprehension skills are obviously lacking, idiot.

You, FR's Meanest Poster, are coming close to Hildy's level of ignorance. Mean and ignorant is no way to go through life.

Now go wash your hands.

The claims by the Rudy McRomniacs grow wilder by the day.

Haven't seen such blatant and brazen lying since Bubba.

Why do you have to dump on conservative Duncan Hunter? If he hasn't got a chance, as you say, then what is your purpose for doing it? Hunter has built a career of solid pro-life votes and support for the sanctity of life. Any reasonable person would see that and leave it alone. It is one of his assets. But you've got to keep true to form and tear conservatives down for your own personal agenda. I guess we were all fooled by your anti-Clinton shtick to believe that you were a conservative. The mask is off and we're not fooled anymore.

2008 is about more than a presidential election. It is part of the WOT.

If we don't get a conservative into office, the UN will complete it's treaty ratification. There will be no turning back.

Rudy's position on PBA is exactly the same as Duncan Hunters.....

Hmmmm. Was there a full moon out early this morning? Or are certain conceptual abilities lacking?

Bottom line: Rudy is and always has supported the legality of abortion on demand. Duncan Hunter has opposed it.

Black & white there. Spin Rudy as hard as you can. It does not change the facts!

Rudy Giuliani is an abortionist.

A disturbing number of FReepers are abortionists.

Duncan Hunter is most assuredly NOT an abortionist.

And YOU are SPREADING LIES!
