Now is the time to make a principled stand for the candidate who most closely matches your own ideological beliefs regardless of funds raised or current level of support. It is way to early to be railroaded into supporting who seems to be the most electable candidate at the time.
As a seasoned MINO (moderate in name only), I plan to push for my favorite candidate now but when the GOP chooses their man, I will be behind him (or her) no matter what for the sole reason that I cant stand to picture First Husband Bill Clinton wandering around the white house again with his bathrobe open, scratching himself and hitting on interns while the world burns.

An early signup date is no indication that a person has been here for years fighting for conservative goals. I have an early signup date on my account at DU, but that is no indication that I've been on that website for years fighting for liberal goals.
I don't think Jim should stand up for anyone who is trying to divide this forum and put down conservative values no matter what there sign-up date happens to be or how well they have toed the line in the past.
Unlike ANY other GOPer in elected office, Rudy, ALONE, has not only stood up against blasphemous and degrading, purported "art" and won the battle.
As a Christian, have you been disgusted by PISS CHRIST and other such government, tax payer funded garbage being served up top the public?
As a Catholic, were you upset about a "painting" of the Virgin Mary smeared with dung and her portrait being encircled by porno pictures of naked vulvae, from some lewd magazine? Well, Rudy is the one that got that and other such garabge taken out of the Brooklyn Museum of Art!
He is also responsible for getting porn shops and hookers out of Times Square and also in neighborhoods...especially near schools!
He's also gone after drug dealers and gang bangers and the Mafia and won! It was he, RUDY GIULIANI, who went after and got Mark Rich convicted!
