*LOL*. You know, a number of the Army Generals I directly worked for overseas some 10+ years ago were Vietnam vets, and some told similar stories privately. Listening to some of the stuff they found on returning home, you marveled that they didn't just lay a couple of these hippies straight out. Man I know I would have had a REAL hard time - I can't even imagine what that was like! The problem is, when you're in that uniform, if you do anything other than ignore them, its your fault. Remember when some bases stateside ordered servicemembers not to wear uniforms off base? I read about that. Unfreakinbelievable. I'm glad I was just a kid and missed that stuff.

Duncan Hunter is a BIG GOVERNMENT guy, as well as a PROTECTIONIST ( but only when it is about others; not his pals ), who has little real life business experience, and has warmed a seat in the House for 26 years, with no name recognition ( even amongst those in the military ), who, by deciding to run for president, that he knows he can't win, has placed his House seat in jeopardy. He has no real financial nor political support and for all of his talk about the border, has spent 26 years in the House, completely ignoring the gaping hole ( which illegals and drug traffickers use daily ) in his own district.
He is a terrible speaker, has no charisma at all, and engenders NO faith in his ability to get ANYTHING done.
And no, he drains that glass....he would ruin our economy and based on what I know of his record, wouldn't do much, if anything for our troops nor the WOT.

Either spelling of the word is correct. The Canadian press spells it Tory or Torie, when referring to the Tories in Canadian politics, all depending of course on the paper your reading.
But yeah, my first instinct was to draw from Torie Clarke. Hence the thinking of the female gender. :)

No, I found someone with a lot of Conservative positions who has PROVED, with DEEDS, not just words and platitudes, what he CAN do.
To: Rex Anderson
He is considered a very respectable leader by our allies. Some of our allies respect Clinton, so really what does that prove?

Abortion and Gun control are not huge issues when you consider the country is going to go bankrupt within 30 years if we don't do something now about the size of government and the cost of entitlements. John, I'm going to politely disagree with this. When the country does go bankrupt within 30 years, the one God-given, constitutionally enumerated right that I and my family will depend on most is the 2nd amendment. I'm not referring .50 cals or machine guns (though there is absolutely nothing wrong about those types of firearms). I'm talking about my semi-automatic rifles and handguns that will be necessary to protect and defend the lives and liberty of my family and I against criminals (who will never obey gun-control law) and tyrants.
I won't support any candidate in a primary election who has shown a propensity to agree that more gun-control (which has been implemented with a policy of incrementalism since at least 1934) is a good thing regardless of what the constitution has to say about it.
Should that type of candidate advance to the general election, even with a (R) behind his name, well, I haven't yet decided if I can hold my nose that long.
FRegards,
H-T

The up and coming war rally in Washington is going to have about the same numbers of hippie types there. Only they aren't going to have a free ride this time.
They have to go thought the middle of about 10,000 Viet War Vets to get to the Memorial they plan on violating.
Pay backs are a comin'!

Why are you refering to me?
I have posted words from Rudys own mouth, that shouldn't bother you. You are a liberal and that is well known on FR. You agree with Rudy on all the liberal stands he takes, why are you complaining about the truth?
