She said global warming was not a democratic problem nor a republican problem it is everyone's problem etc etc or sorta like that...not red problem not blue problem but green problem...i sorta tuned her out, it is very disturbing to me that these talented folks are so goofy about algore and global warming...i mean, i love Leonardo DiCaprio as an actor but I shuddered when I saw him gazing adoringly at Algore..so unseemly.
No...you heard wrong...she was actually very politically INCORRECT.
She said global warming wasn't "Democrat or Republican."
AAACCKKK!!! She actually said "Democrat" NOT "Democratic!!"
LOL!!! Looking forward to the reaction to THIS!!!!
Does anyone have a picture of Jack Nicholson at tonight's ceremony?
I think the Dreamgirls songs cancelled each other out in the voting.
Yes
Yeah, she thanked her/his wife and when she first got up she kissed her/him on the lips. I just thought this in my mind was funny.........
Hook 'Em! I'm a BSChE, '81 from UT...and, a LIFE-LONG fan.
Season tickets for over 20 years, praying this class is as good as the V Young one.
zzzzzzzzzzzzzzz not sure how much more I can take.... I thought posting would keep me awake.... but, there's only 3 of us. :-) zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
I was a season ticket holder from '81 to '86... but, then moved to La, and later to KY... kind of a long commute. I'm going to Austin in a couple of weeks...
Yea well.. NOT ONE Supreme song in Dreamgirls... just a bunch of over-acted screaming...

Miss you Maureen, and James Doohan.... and, Jack!
I saw the movie...it is really a great movie. I have a video of it that I taped years ago off of t.v. I may try to find time to see the movie again. Glad you brought it up. I was always taping movies and some I never have watched again. I always loved the movie "Giant" and taped it twice (forgetting I had already taped it). Oh, well, thats life!
I suffered through the most useless, boring Oscars I've ever seen just to see Celine Dion.Shut it off after- didn't care about any current films.
She was the classiest/most talented thing on the show. Her dress was exquisite and her voice is magnificent.
I don't know what happened to Ellen Degeneres, or what it takes to make her lackluster and un-funny, but this broadcast did it. Felt like it was directed by Cheech and Chong, doped out of their minds. It was like 'Night of the Living Dead' with tuxes and jewelry.
I am feeling the same way....I could have already slept at least one half hour.........~~yawn~~
