Likewise, Mary was assumed body and soul into Heaven.

Me either, I'd have to see it in the Bible, chapter and verse. Otherwise it's not "official".

"Keep in mind that if Scripture does not record an event, it does not follow that the event did not happen. Scripture does not record Paul or Peter's journey to Rome, and they were both martyred there while the Bible was still being written. With this in mind, it would be unscriptural and unreasonable to conclude that the dogma of Mary's Assumption is false because it is not mentioned explicitly in Scripture."

Just some thoughts.

That ossuary has subsequently gone missing. If I ever find the individual who changed the term "disappeared" to "went missing", I will whip their hands with a ruler!!!

Were there any other women by name other than one Martha? Yes ... Mary from Magdala.
"Miriam" was a very popular name back then, as was Joseph.

hmmm...how do they know what Jesus' family's DNA consisted of....has to be a guess and shame on them@!
To: NYer
That's what I mean, Mary the mother of Jesus, Mary Magdelene, Mary the wife of Cleopas and Martha - were any other women named in the gospels? Mary was definitely popular but probably didn't count for 3/4 of the women.

Don't toil with the Devil, he works seven days a week. Look to Jesus and smile. God Bless you.

Mysterious bones of Jesus, Joseph and Mary I'd purely love to see them try to prove that. I mean, that they're the Jesus, Joseph and Mary. Good luck.

Is it completely hypocritical of me to post a comment on a subject matter that I consider to be an absolute waste of bandwidth?
