Legend says that the temple mount is a gateway that G_D can open into the realm of heaven. That legend does not have anything to do with "Allah" and comes from the remote history of Israel in the time of Abraham, and before.

BTW, you might look into the architectural details of the temple mount. It's fascinating information. The fact that the Muslims possess it disempowers both the Jewish and Christian religions, especially because it is not shared.
